Amazing!! I like it in greyscale.. definitely no need for purple.
The wheeled cross reminds me of "The Dark is Rising".. though I don't think in that book any of the signs had knotwork patterns on them..:D
Wonderful, amazingly detailed work!

Wow... beautiful. I'm going to have to watch your gallery for any more amazing knots/whatevers come from there. I like that you've kept it greyscale too. Really shows off the great shading.

Nice work, I love the center knotwork too :)

Can get a bit tricky with those kind of overlaps in the very center but you obviously have it worked out well.

I'm dying to know what tools of the trade you use... or is it freehand? If I tried a knot like that (which I have... actually) it comes out as one great big tangle. Respect.

i use compass, ruler, protractor, pencil, eye, bottle of wine, getting the cords right is a bit of freehand working on something like this :-) [link] you might be interested in this?

wow.... such a fine craft. So you're putting a pdf mag together? sounds like a grand idea. I really do a hodgepodge of traditional work... I'd need some coaching to become a journalist! ;)
