Implying a theme of hope, this amazing capture caught my eye because I love sunsets and skies. I especially like how this picture has mainly a dark feel, but the orange glow of the sun brightens up the image. The colors of the clouds are perfect, as the sun turns them a blue-ish purple. As for the silhouetted land, it is also a nice addition, though I would have liked to see some more depth and range in the foreground and background if you know what I mean. The gradient of the sky itself is a classic, it's hard for one not to admire the beauty of mother nature. Overall, this is a well done photograph of an everyday event. Dark sunsets are always pretty and thought provoking. A job well done, though I would recommend giving it a nice(r) title if possible.
